Susan Tindall McDonald

Susan Tindall McDonald is a ceramic and mosaic artist. Working within the two mediums, Susan creates vibrant and lively pieces inspired by her love of nature. Susan’s work reflects her natural surroundings by capturing the vibrant colours of the Australian landscape and creating patterns, as if to capture the tune of the local bird call. The works are bold, and designed with artists in mind such as Klimt, Gaudi and Preston.

Tindall McDonald started work in Sydney as a graphic designer until her passion for mosaics and ceramic work became her priority. This led to her teaching the medium at the Hazelhurst Regional Gallery and Art Centre, where she taught for 16 years. Susan has held many solo and group exhibitions nationally, including exhibitions at the Hazelhurst Regional Gallery, the Broadhurst Gallery, the LaneWays Project by the City of Sydney Council and 107 Projects Redfern.
